MADRAS UNIVERSITY'S NEW SCIENCE COURSE
B.Sc ( Blended ) Science Programme
The blended science programme is jointly offered by Madras University and University of Melbourne, Australia.
"This is a unique re search-oriented programme jointly offered by two universities. Students can also do projects at Melbourne University. Students will be eligible to directly join the research programmes like MS or Phd in foreign universities.
Students will study Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and practical courses during the first four semesters. In the third year, they can choose either physics or chemistry or maths.
"If students perform well, they can go and study in Melbourne University in the final year.
Students will study in the curriculum designed by the Melbourne University.
Many science departments on the Guindy campus are coming together to offer this programme.
Students enrolled in this programme can access the video lectures, e-books and other resources prepared by Melbourne University faculty members.
