MADRAS SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS (MSE)
Three-year BA (honours) in economics degree programme for 2024-25.
Students with maths background in Class XII alone are eligible to apply.
The admission for the new course will be based on an entrance test which is scheduled to be held on June 2.
MSE will reserve 35% of its seats to students from Tamil Nadu.
MSE is also introducing a new degree MSc in data science from 2024-25 academic year

The course will offer several cutting edge subjects like big data, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cyber security.
MSE graduates are preferred by analytics and research companies as the curriculum is based on quantitative, data-driven, and analytical approaches.
Graduates are offered roles such as analysts, economists among others.
MSE which is ranked second after Delhi School of Economics has nearly 100% placement record for its postgraduate degree programmes with an average salary of 12 lakh per annum.
