Institute of Aeronautics and Engineering Bhopal is a technical institute approved by the Director-General of Civil Aviation and is administered by the managing body of Sha-Shib Group of Institutions. The institute is run by the Institute of Management & Technologies and has been engaged in providing training in the field of aviation with an outstanding performance in National Cadre.
Presently, the institute is focused on imparting Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course with its students placed at various international and domestic Airlines/MRO/Flying Clubs/Aviation Institutes/Aviation Technical support Organizations, etc., in India & abroad.
The institute offers courses in two major disciplines: Avionics and Mechanical. To be eligible for admission to these courses the candidates must possess a 10+2 qualification with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as chief subjects or Diploma equivalent to 10+2 standard and medically fit as per the guidelines provided by DGCA
Admission to these programs is granted on the basis of merit. Sha-Shib Group is conducting a scholarship examination – “SHA-SHIB SCHOLARSHIP & APTITUDE TEST (SSAT).” Based on ranking in this examination, one can avail concession in fee of Institute of Aeronautics & Engineering, Bhopal
