Bharathiar University is a State University that conducts education in regular as well as distance mode. School of Distance Education was established in the year 1991-92 and today it has 270 spot admission cum learning centers across India.
Admissions are done directly after conducting Personal Contact Programmes or PCP at selected centers of University.
- BU-SDE conducts 2 years MBA course in 27 specializations and also offers General MBA to eligible students.
- Eligible students need to get enrolled in respective learning centres and selected candidates will be called for PCP at Coimbatore
- Admissions will be granted provisionally to those who send the form on time. However, the final admission only after document verification.
- For re-admission and lateral entry admission, additional fee of INR 650 and INR 1300 respectively is applicable.
Application forms and prospectus are issued and accepted round the year and admissions are done throughout the year as per the University specifications.
Applications received between June and December are admitted to the academic year batch while those received between January and May will be admitted to the calendar year batch.
No kind of entrance exam is done for MBA admissions in distance mode. Admissions are done directly either on campus or via means of learning centers.
